Halloween 2022

What Will This Halloween 2022 Bring?

Some time ago, I hosted a Mad Science/Steampunk party for the Cub Scouts group my son and I were a part of. 

I always thought I could do better, so here I go. The thought is to turn the garage into a Mad Laboratory with a Steampunk aesthetic.

First of all, any Mad Scientist worth his salt has had some sort of lab accident that has left it's mark. As such, I have created a Steampunk Style Mechanical Arm for me ... Dr. Tolo Maniaco!

This is the idea for the costume:

I need a main Control Panel, so I made a few components ...

Including the necessary Tesla Coil ...

The main attraction will of course be The Monster on the Slab. But I want to do something a little different, I think. So ...

The head will be separate from the body — as if I'm still working on it.

I'm using my Plasma Ball as his brain. And I created a little something to decorate the stand.

And finally, his heart —

Well, we're all caught-up!   More stuff as it happens. I'm picturing LARGE gears and levers, stone walls, lights, music ... it'll be fun!
